It’s the sound of forklifts running and hammers clanging at CenturyLink Field Event Center as Seattle Home Show 2 prepares for the opening of its 2011 edition. The fall version of the nation’s oldest and largest home show opens this Friday to showcase all the latest in home improvement and design, concluding on Monday October 10 (Columbus Day).
This year, green is the theme at Seattle Home Show 2, which is a one-stop shopping showcase of all that is hot for the home. New this year is the New Products Pavilion, which highlights many of the latest in exterior and interior products for the home. Also being featured is an Outdoor Living Showcase (created by London Design Build), a 1,200 square foot exhibit featuring a series of vignettes devoted to the latest in outdoor living ideas.
