Outdoor Living by Night

Presented by Sleep Number™, Outdoor Living by Night is a unique display featuring all the latest trends in outdoor living designed specifically for the Northwest climate, illuminated with a cloud-based outdoor lighting system that lets you change colors depending on the season or celebration, all from your smartphone. Created by London Design Build, this huge display features a series of outdoor vignettes ranging from covered living areas to a sports court and putting green.

When visiting the show, make sure to stroll through this beautiful outdoor paradise, relax in one of the many seating areas and enjoy a glass of wine or beer, or both, while listening to some music that serenades you throughout the entire space.

Enjoy Food Samples from Local Chefs Daily from Noon to 2 pm in the New Outdoor Living by Night Display

Show visitors have the chance to sample food by local chefs each day in the Wine Tasting area of the Outdoor Living by Night exhibit by London Design Build.  Kicking off the daily demos today was well-known local chef, restaurateur and author John Howie, who prepared some of his signature dishes.  A different chef will be featured each day, so take advantage of Seattle Home Show’s “Too Much to See-Come Back for Free”™ that lets you come back to the show a second day for free.  

Outdoor Living with Wine & Food Garden by London Design Build

Show attendees are taking time to see all the latest trends for outdoor living at this wonderful Outdoor Living with Wine & Food Garden.   Created by London Design Build, the garden features a series of outdoor living vignettes (including soccer and basketball courts), as well as a wine and food area where show visitors can sample wine and food (wine samples noon to show close; food 11 am to 2 pm) while listening to live music.   Be sure to come on down before the show ends today!

KING 5 at Seattle Home Show

The Seattle Home Show had a special guest this morning:  KING 5 News, which broadcast live from CenturyLink Field Event Center before the show opened.   KING 5 viewers took a tour of a high tech tiny home, courtesy of Carriage Houses Northwest; saw how Virtual Reality has come to home design, courtesy of London Design Build; and learned about the top trends in home design from Norsk Design Build.   Be sure to come down to see these and other exciting ideas for the home!

Sneak Preview - Outdoor Living & Wine Tasting Area

 The 2017 edition of Seattle Home Show 2 is still weeks away, but we already can start sharing with you sneak previews of what you can see at this year’s show, such as these newly released renderings of Seattle Home Show 2’s Outdoor Living & Wine Tasting Area.  One of the most popular features at the show, the Outdoor Living & Wine Tasting Area (created by London Design Build and presented by Forever Lawn) will showcase all the latest trends for outdoor living, including a wine tasting area where show visitors can sample fine wine and listen to live music.   We’ll be sharing advance previews of other highlights and features in the upcoming weeks – be sure to check back!

Virtual Reality Comes to Garden Design

Ben Middlemiss with London Design Build demonstrates his VR headset during an interview with Tom Hutyler of KOMO Radio.  Clients can now experience proposed garden designs through this 3-D technology.  Tune in to KOMO AM 1000 from now until 6pm and hear more of Tom’s interviews with exhibitors at the show.

It’s outdoor fun indoors here at the Seattle Home Show in London Design Build’s Outdoor Living, Wine & Beer Garden.  Show visitors are enjoying themselves trying out a putting green or full sport court, strolling through the garden displays and tasting wine and beer to the sound of live music.  There are even cooking demos daily by leading chefs from the region.  Stop by during the show to experience it for yourself!
