Versatile “tiny homes” and smaller live/work buildings are attracting a growing number of buyers, and we’ll have the latest models on display for a first-hand look! At the forefront of this trend, award-winning DeTray’s Custom Housing presents “The Woodstock,” a two-bedroom, one-bath manufactured home. The 693-square-foot model features an open living room and kitchen with large windows and a covered 6-foot porch. For more compact needs, West Coast Homes highlights its 400-square-foot “San Juan Tiny Home” model featuring a nifty loft design with a bright and airy floorplan. And Seattle Tiny Homes spotlights the 10’x40’ “Wallingford” with a master bedroom on the main floor, upstairs sleeping loft, combined washer/dryer, ample storage, and custom hardwood throughout.

Exhibitors Display Seahawks Fever as Construction Continues on IDEA STREET™ Model Homes

It’s Day 2 of set up for the 70^th Anniversary Seattle Home Show, and the feverish pace continues as exhibitors work hard to complete their displays for opening day on Saturday.

Among the more challenging exhibits to construct in such a short time are Seattle Home Show’s IDEA STREET model homes.   This year, the IDEA STREET homes feature a diverse yet cutting edge range of styles, such as a modular home from Timberland Homes and a vacation cabin from DeTray’s Custom Housing, nestled in London Design Build’s Outdoor Living Garden, a more than 10,000 square foot display devoted to the latest in outdoor living.  By Saturday, both of these homes and several more will not only be completely constructed, but will be fully landscaped as well.
