Top Tips to Make Your Home Show Experience Last Year Round

The Seattle Home & Garden show may be over, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait until the next show to start planning some home improvement projects or getting ideas for everything that has to do with the home and garden.  Here are some tips on how to make your home show experience last year round.

• Did you get a lot of information from exhibitors when you visited the show?  If so, start organizing that information into what your top 5 projects or ideas for the home will be.  

• Research those companies online and/or in person to see if they are a good fit for you.

Final Weekend

There are only a few days left of the 2023 Seattle Home & Garden Show!  If you haven’t made it over to Lumen Field Event Center or want to visit again, now is your chance.  This weekend’s features include Ciscoe Morris (Saturday only); Swim/Bike/Run for Habitat for Humanity, on onsite fundraiser for affordable housing; a tiny home village featuring the latest ideas for affordable housing; a human sized billiards game where players kick soccer balls into the table pockets; daily home improvement seminars, and more.

From urban gardening to working at home, Northwesterners will be able to see all the latest products, services and trends for the home when the Seattle Home & Garden Show, the nation’s oldest and largest consumer home show, opens its doors February 26 – March 6 at Lumen Field Event Center.  
 
Among the top features at the Seattle Home & Garden Show are:
 
-The Mini-O, a complete mini backyard office that is fully climate controlled (including A/C and an electric fireplace heater) and can easily be relocated if you move

-Yard to Table, a 6,000 square educational community garden showcasing the latest in urban gardening, urban farming, hobby gardening and homesteading, complete with live small farm animals and seminars on topics ranging from beekeeping to raising chickens

-A 20 x 80 foot game room exhibit featuring the latest in game room equipment

-LANFest, an onsite computer gaming event in conjunction with Best Buy for gamers of all ages

-Swim/Bike/Run for Habitat, an onsite fundraiser for affordable housing where the public can sign up to compete by swimming, biking or running, with proceeds donated to Habitat for Humanity

-Daily “Meet the Experts” seminars on all things for exterior and interior home improvement

The Seattle Home Show Day One Setup

Exhibitors have already begun their fast-paced setup for the upcoming Seattle Home Show which opens this Saturday, February 15th and runs until February 23rd at CenturyLink Field Event Center.

Everything from free art and antiques appraisals to a special “Kids Zone” with activities just for children will be at the nation’s largest housing extravaganza, along with all the latest products and services for the home, during its annual nine-day run.

There will be so much to see and we will continue to post updates from the show floor throughout the coming weeks.

In less than 24 hours, the doors will open to the public on the fall version of the nation's oldest and largest home show.  Everyone is working hard to bring you all the latest in new home technology, design and ideas for you and your home.

Set Up Now Underway for Seattle Home Show 2 October 4-6

The trucks have already lined up and the roll-up doors are open as set up gets underway for this year’s Seattle Home Show 2.  Nearly 400 exhibits featuring all the latest in interior and exterior home improvement and construction are being erected at CenturyLink Field Event Center in just three short days.

It is the sound and sight of cranes bringing in garden compost, hammers swinging and saws in action as Seattle Home Show 2 exhibitors prepare for opening day on Friday October 4.   Everything from display gardens to display homes are in the works for show visitors’ enjoyment.
