Attention homeowners: looking to add an ADU – a backyard cottage or “tiny home?” SkyDADU spotlights income opportunities and other benefits in major display and seminar presentations

A big win for homeowners, the 2025 passage of House Bill 1337 by lawmakers removed significant barriers to building accessory dwelling units (ADUs), including detached units known as DADUs (Detached Accessory Dwelling Units), also known as backyard cottages and “tiny homes.” The new statewide reform presents expanded income producing opportunities and other benefits for homeowners.

Seattle Home & Garden Show presenting sponsor SkyDADU, a leader in this rapidly growing housing segment, presents a major educational display where home and property owners can explore DADU design, financing, and construction opportunities with personal consultations. Veteran builder and DADU visionary Tod Sakai, President of SkyDADU, shares need-to-know information in his "DADU Law Decoded – How It Creates New Opportunity” in seminar presentations each day of the show at 1 p.m., located at Stage One.
