It’s
the sound of trucks and forklifts at CenturyLink Field Event Center as set up is
underway for the Seattle Home Show 2013.
As the largest home show in the country, staging the Seattle Home Show
2013 is no small undertaking. Moving in
more than 500 exhibits (including model homes) is a carefully orchestrated
event that involves a small army to ensure that everything is ready for the
public by opening day on Saturday.
Getting exhibits in the door is just the first step – many are then constructed
on site, including an 11,000 square foot wine tasting and outdoor living garden
featuring all the latest trends in landscape design.
In addition to the wine tasting and outdoor living garden,
other highlights the public will be able to see starting this Saturday include:
· IDEA
STREET™ model homes featuring some of the latest and unique trends in Northwest
home building, from two-bedroom homes to a cottage in a kit
· Dr.
Lori of Discovery Channel’s Auction Kings,
who will be entertaining show- goers with free art and antiques appraisals as
well as insights into the world of collecting
· All
the new products for the home, including a spa with a built-in Bluetooth stereo
· “Made
in America” with displays featuring products and services made only in America
· “Meet
the Experts” home improvement seminar series on a wide variety of topics
relating to interior and exterior home improvement
Seattle Home Show 2013 runs February 16 through 24. Be sure to check back here daily for more
