As the
Seattle Home Show 2013 draws to a close
, Northwesterners are in their final hours of “Swim for
Habitat for Humanity,” where they are swimming to raise money for
Habitat for Humanity.
Swimmers are doing
their best to raise as much money as possible for this non-profit before the
show ends tonight by swimming continuously in a swim spa without touching any
part of the spa, or any person or any object.
Show visitors are
joining in on the fun too by watching the swimmers as they accumulate funds for
every minute they swim.
“Swim for
Habitat for Humanity” is sponsored by the Seattle Home Show,
Aqua Quip and
BECU, who are donating $5 for every minute swimmers can swim.
If swimmers swim longer than 30
minutes, the donation increases to $10 per minute.
The public can also make donations to the swim by
visiting the Habitat for Humanity website at
https://secure.acceptiva.com/?cst=beab13 and selecting “Swim
for Habitat for Humanity” in “kind of donation”.
