With so much of the public eye focused on the economy, particularly the home market, at the Seattle Home Show we're seeing much that is affirmative, even in these times. While the economy is not what it was a year or two ago, our local builders and contractors - who are among the leading professionals in the region - are reporting solid sales.
In this framework, we're seeing a variety of innovations among our exhibitors, and in upcoming posts plan to focus (among other things) on companies that are not only enduring, but moving forward in today's economy. Among these exhibitors is Tilit LLC, which is introducing to the Northwest its "illuminative" tiles at the Seattle Home Show 2009. These traditional stone-based tiles feature built-in LED lighting, which can be used for design accents, night or accent lighting and more.
Celebrating its 65th anniversary, the Seattle Home Show is the nation's oldest and largest consumer home products showcase. The show kicks off on Saturday, February 14, for its annual nine day run at Qwest Field Event Center.
