Seattle Home Show 2 Opens Today

It’s opening day at Seattle Home Show 2!  The fall version of the nation’s oldest and largest consumer home show has officially opened its doors with the public lined up to be the first to get a look at all the latest trends and products for the Northwest home.

Even before the Show opened, early birds were able to get a sneak preview this morning when KING 5’s Roberta Romero broadcast live from CenturyLink Field Event Center with some of the top highlights at this year’s Show, including “Swim for Habitat for Humanity.”  Courtesy of Aqua Quip, BECU and Seattle Home Show 2,“Swim for Habitat for Humanity” features swimmers who are raising funds for this important non-profit by swimming up to 60 minutes continuously in a swim spa, without stopping or touching any part of the swim spa, any person or any object.   For every minute they swim, Aqua Quip, BECU and the Seattle Home Show 2 are donating $5 per minute; if they swim more than 30 minutes the amount goes up to $10 per minute, up to 60 minutes.

Seattle Home Show 2 runs now through Sunday October 6.  Be sure to check in regularly throughout the day and through the weekend for more updates!
