It’s the final day of set up for the 2012 edition of SeattleHome Show 2, and exhibitors are working furiously to make the final touches to
their displays for Friday’s opening day.
Among the special visitors during Seattle Home Show 2’s set up was KING
5’s Christie Johnson, who offered viewers a sneak preview of what the public
can see when the Show opens tomorrow. Three
exhibits were highlighted.
Ferguson Enterprises, which showed Christie its high tech
toilet that features an automatically opening lid and seat, a smartphone-like
touch pad to play music, a heated seat, a self-cleaning bowl, bidet functions
and even a built in nightlight. After
the toilet, Ferguson demonstrated its new magnetic induction “burner-less”
cooktop that automatically adjusts to cook any size pot or pan (up to five at a
time).
Moving from kitchen and bath, Christie visited with muralist
Andy Eccleshall of the Mural Works, who showed King 5 viewers how they can
transform their homes using the art of trompe d’oeil.
